		<description>I can&#039;t believe how hard it seems to be to bring up children in Italy - from child birth to schooling, activities and funding &quot;adult&quot; children.  Seems a shame really - should they not make becoming a parent more attractive?  Who knows...</description>

I remember reading on the Expats site about various women&#039;s childbirth experiences in Italian hospitals, which sounded horrendous.  None of the attempts to retain dignity that you get in the UK/US.</description>
